Hank Loomis is a major antagonist of the 1996 movie Scream. He is a corrupt and ambitious lawyer and the father of the infamous Ghostface.

He is a corrupt, ambitious and cruel lawyer who divorced from his wife and eversince that moment, he keeps from his son William Bill Loomis a very dark secret; that he's getting married to his girlfriend's mother Maureen Prescott. Billy kills his wife, without the honest father knowing about his acts of mischief and crime. Hank later defends Billy infront of the cops, after he attacks Maureen's daughter, Sidney Prescott. However, behind the back of the police force, he asks his son if he really did commit the crime. The son denies it. He eventually realized that his son became a crime lord and serial killer, with his name written all over town and everyone being afraid of him. Hank ends up realizing the truth and feeling remorse for his previous actions and for defending a crime lord.
